  PIC: duties - ensure the facility has written procedures for vomiting and diarrheal events.
   Not written procedures in place at this time and no
  clean-up kit available. Store Mgr. will work on getting that established.
  3717-1-02.4.C.16: The food service operation or retail food establishment shall have written procedures for employees to
  follow when responding to vomiting or diarrheal events that involve discharge onto surfaces in the food service operation or
  retail food establishment. The procedures shall address the specific actions employees must take to minimize the spread of
  contamination and the exposure of employees, consumers, food, and surfaces to vomitus or fecal matter.

  *CRITICAL VIOLATION*
  3717-1-06.4(K)
  Controlling pests.
   Most of the stock within the sales support area
  (stockroom) was up again the wall and within the one foot perimeter painted on the floor. This floor painting was done to
  guide stock placement in order to aid in controlling pests by making it easier to routinely inspect the premises for evidence
  of pests. All stock should be stored in such a way to provide easy access for pest control.
  3717-1-06.4.K: Controlling pests. The presence of insects, rodents, and other pests shall be controlled to minimize their
  presence on the premises by:
  3717-1-06.4.K.1: Routinely inspecting incoming shipments of food and supplies;
  3717-1-06.4.K.2: Routinely inspecting the premises for evidence of pests;
  3717-1-06.4.K.3: Using methods, if pests are found, such as trapping devices or other means of pest control as specified under
  paragraphs (C), (K) and (L) of rule 3717-1-07.1 of the Administrative Code; and
  3717-1-06.4.K.4: Eliminating harborage conditions.

  Cleaning and maintenance of plumbing fixtures.
   Toilets and hand sinks within the restroom areas
  utilized by employees and store patrons were dirty. Such areas and plumbing fixtures should be cleaned as often as necessary.
  The floor within the first restroom area was flooded with water. Not sure if water was from an overflowing toilet or if it
  came from outside flooding that entered from under the side exit door. The Store Mgr. is having this investigated. She will
  also have the restrooms cleaned.
  3717-1-06.4.H: Cleaning and maintenance of plumbing fixtures. Plumbing fixtures such as handwashing sinks, toilets, and
  urinals shall be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean and maintained.
